Ultrasonic Amplitude, Power, and Energy (III)

Ultrasonic Four Parameters & The Relationship Between Amplitude and Energy
The effect of ultrasonic welding is fully determined by four parameters: time, power, frequency, and amplitude.
Among them, time and power are easy to adjust and observe, so they are the main settings in daily operation and are familiar to most users.
However, amplitude is different. It is a key indicator, yet the most difficult to measure and understand.
Not only ordinary users, but also many equipment manufacturers pay little attention to it, and it is rarely mentioned in the instruction manuals.
Furthermore, the core indicator of ultrasonic energy transmission is sound intensity.
There is a critical rule: amplitude and energy have a squared relationship!
A small increase in amplitude leads to a sharp, exponential rise in energy.
This is exactly why amplitude is so important.
